The Torch Bar has been serving downtown Flint for over 50 years. We are just a few minutes walk from most downtown offices. Our relaxed, casual atmosphere is the perfect place to unwind with co-workers and friends. Whether you are stopping in after a long day at the office, chilling out after a final exam or just want to get together with friends, the Torch will make you feel at home.

The Torch Burger is considered by many to be the best hamburger in Genesee County. A full half pound burger ( 8oz.) of fresh ground beef that is hand made each morning. We never use frozen preformed patties like many of the chain restaurants do. Cooked to order with the toppings of your choice. Satisfy your appetite with a Torch Burger with everything (mustard, ketchup, pickle and onions) or maybe a Torch Burger with cheese deluxe (lettuce, tomato and Mayo). Popular additions to any burger are Wedge cut French Fries or Onion Rings. Want a bit of both; try the Torch Half-n-Half Basket. You get Wedge Cut French Fries and Onion Rings.

On Fridays enjoy our fresh, beer battered fish and chips. Made each Friday, we take cod loins and hand-dip each piece in our beer batter, served hot with Cole slaw and a side of Tartar. Or try our Fish sandwich. We take our hand-dipped beer battered fish and serve it up hot on a hoagie bun with lettuce and tomato with Cole slaw and tartar sauce on the side. We sell out quickly, so come in early for lunch or call in to reserve a dinner!!!!

For something different order our club sandwich, made with turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato and two kinds of cheese piled high on three slices of lightly toasted wheat bread. Its sure to fill you up with out weighing you down.

For something on the lighter side enjoy our grilled chicken. We grill a 4oz. all-white meat chicken breast and serve it on a hoagie roll with lettuce, tomato and mayo. Prefer something lighter still? Ask for our grilled chicken breast on a dinner salad.

We also offer Veggie burgers, served like the Torch Burger, just with out the beef.
